Thy Kingdom Come

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

The World Economic Forum is warning that our global infrastructure is at risk. The planet needs $97 trillion to invest in infrastructure, yet that much money can’t be found. Now you have something else to worry about!
But here’s the good news. One day the world will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14). People around the world will say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths” (Isaiah 2:3). God’s people will live and reign with Christ for a thousand years (Revelation 20:4), and King Jesus “shall reign and prosper, and execute judgment and righteousness in the earth” (Jeremiah 23:5).
When you grow discouraged at the world, look into the Word and look forward to the time when Christ will rule in righteousness and truth.
Bible teaching about the Second Coming of Christ was thought of as “doomsday” preaching. But not anymore. It is the only ray of hope that shines as an ever-brightening beam in a darkening world.
