John 16:33 (CEV) I have told you this, so that you might have peace in your hearts because of me. While you are in the world, you will have to suffer. But cheer up! I have defeated the world.

Romans 8:37 (LB) But despite all this overwhelming victory is ours, through Christ who loved us enough to die for us.

2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ.

Jesus did not only die for our sins. He died so that we might have His life and victory in every single area of our lives. He came that we may have life and have it more abundantly, John 10:10. Adam’s sin brought all evil and bondages into this world, but much more Christ’s obedience has brought God’s grace, life, freedom. Goodness and victory into all areas of our lives. God is concerned about every area of your life (Matt. 10:30) and He has promised to perfect ALL that concerns you, Psa. 138:8. God is not condemning you; He is at work in you, lovingly helping you to overcome and experience His victory. Jesus has victoriously gone through what you are going through and He wants you to come boldly to receive His mercy and grace for that situation, Heb. 4:14-16. He wants you to be of good cheer. He has already given you victory in that situation.

You may be in the middle of a storm or you may be walking through a valley of the shadow of death. IN all these things, you are more than conquerors through Christ’s love. You don’t need to pay any price for it. All you have to do is to accept that Jesus has already given you the victory. As you do this, you will start receiving His direction on how to access and experience that victory in your life. When you accept Christ’s victory over the situation, it will reflect in your thoughts, words and actions. It will reflect in your countenance. You will declare what the Lord has done. You may be feeling weak but you will declare that you are strong, Joel 3:10. Declare that you are rich, you are healed and you are a Father of many nations because of what the Lord has done for you. You are not the one trying to win and get the victory. Christ has already won it for you. Don’t fall for the devil’s lies. Stand for God’s truth about you in Christ.

Prayer Focus:
