DCLM Sincere Milk Children Daily Devotional Guide for Saturday 18th, January 2020 – DIVINELY PROTECTED

TEXT: 2 Kings 6: 14- 17

“And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. AndtheLord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horshes and chariots of fire round about Elisha”(2 Kings 6:17)

Naturally, when a person is Well protected by policemen or soldiers, he or she is assumed to be safe. However, this is not always true because human beings can fail. It is only God Who cannot fail.

You can enioy divine protection. Divine protection is the same thing as God’s protection. His protection keeps you completely safe as we see in the case of Elisha. The army of Syria had come by night and surrounded the city Where Elisha was. Elisha saw them and he also saw the host of heaven that came to protect him. That is why he was not afraid. When his servant saw the Syrian army, he did not see the host of heaven. So, he became afraid. Elisha then prayed and God opened the eyes of his servant to see the heavenly host.

Are you a child of God? His angels encamp around you. His chariots of fire surround you. As the mountain surrounds Jerusalem, He surrounds you. You are divinely protected. Divine protection is better than any other protection. And this divine is for all children of God who are living a holy life. Repent of sin, make your way right and be a permanent friend of Jesus and you will always enjoy His protection.

Prayer: Dear Lord, grant me grace to be holy and and always enjou your protection
